One of Umquano's nastiest banes; Necromancer Bob, with the help of other Wolf Clan members performed a most heinous act with the full blessings of the newly re-named "FireStream", supposed Magistrate of the village, against me!
With Skyler, Krea, Corax, MindSwift, Madam Ophelia and Uriah attending Clan business in RavenShire, and Brigid off enjoying her newfound marital status; Bob enacted his evil deed!
He lured me in by killing Twyla. When I pleaded with him to heal her, he agreed to do so, for just one piece of green candy! Oddly enough, upon returning with my whole bag of goodies, there was but one green one to be found!
As he took the candy as I offered many, he did slay me by magikal means. The wolf clan then took me to the vacant home of the Van Gaard where Bob did cut my only hand off!
The healing powers that The Raven Spirit bestowed me allowed me to battle my way back from the dead, regaining consciousness in time to witness the goings on about me.
I had to focus all my courage & attention to the voices about in order to not scream out in absolute horror at the desecration of my being.
I heard Twyla pleading with Bob, then heard her slain by the hand of DerwynDale!
I heard Saboo valiantly fighting for my life, only to be brought to near death by Achilles (whom I had trusted more than any other Wolf Clan member!)
I heard as the honorable Gysler did fight for me to his last breath, as Stalker froze his heart & lungs!
I heard FireStream ask if it could be taken outside the village so as not to bring disgrace on "HIS" village, but accept it when Bob said it was nearly done!
And though it broke my spirit, I heard R.C. ask that this be stopped, but never did he sound the battle cry of: "NEVERMORE!" or lift a weapon to help what he later described (ME!!!) as a "LOST CAUSE"!
It was later claimed (By who, none will say.) that I had attempted to poison the necromancer!
Though I never heard the word poison mentioned as I lay in horror trying concentrate lest I lose my mind as well as my hand!
